Palm Sunday - Not Yet!

This week we hear again the story of Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem. It is a moment of great joy and excitement before the trials and sadness of Holy Week. We may have heard this story many times over our Christian lives- yet we are challenged each time to hear God's Word with fresh ears. This week I have been struck by Jesus' final words- "....if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out."
 
 Imagine all of creation celebrating and worshiping God so completely that the very stones cry out! Imagine a heart so full of joy and understanding of God's great mercy that it is unable to stay silent. This is the heart inside each one of us, as we prepare to celebrate the greatest mystery of all- Jesus, God's Son, amongst us- dying to restore us to a full relationship with His Father. Jesus overcomes death, He restores relationships, and He truly loves each one of us. Let your heart be filled with joy and worship as you enter His story along the road to Jerusalem.
