This week we continue our Advent worship series, with Waiting Well.....waiting well with discernment, Discernment is an important activity of being a Christian. We live in a world where there are many voices, opinions and ideas, many of which are enticing. Our reading from 1 Thessalonians 5:16–24 reminds us to listen constantly to God's Spirit, and to reject anything that leads us away from God and His grace. This week in our worship we will look at what Christian discernment involves, so that we make wise decisions in relation to our eternal life.
